Max Qwarnström is an fundraising and investment professional with vast experience working in Europe, focusing on the Nordic area. He was previously a partner at a Norwegian based investment group, investing primary in Nordic private equity & real asset companies and funds on the secondary market, He also previously worked in investment banking, maninly advising on secondary transactions and other fundraising activities. He sits in various various advisory boards, advising tech and real estate companies, mainly on capital raise activities and strategy plans.   Max was previous a professional ice hockey player, playing in both Sweden and Canada. He is an executive MBA candidate in financial management.




Peter is a civil and structural engineer who has become a recognised world leader in major bridges, advanced composite technology and in sustainable development in cities and regions. In 2008 he was named by the Guardian Newspaper as one of 50 people that could ‘save the planet’.He was cited by Time magazine in 2008 as one of 30 global eco-heroes and has been one of CNN’s Principle Voices. In 2011 he was awarded the CBE in the New Year’s Honours List for services to Civil Engineering and the Environment. In April 2011 he left Arup to set up The Ecological Sequestration Trust, a Charity which has brought together the world’s top scientists, engineers, economists, financiers, health, ecology and other specialists to create, demonstrate and scale a CHEER (Collaborative Human-Ecological-Economics-Resource systems) GIS platform to enable regions all over the world to plan, design and implement inclusive resilient growth using low carbon urban-rural development approaches which are energy, water and food secure. Peter was a member of SDSN Thematic Group 9 that wrote and lobbied successfully for an urban SDG. Peter was one of the authors of the Planetary Health Commission 2015 Report on Safeguarding Human Health in the Anthropocene Era. He was also one of the authors of the Royal Society Report on Resilience to Extreme Weather 2015. He was editor of Roadmap 2030 an action plan for financing SDG delivery in cities including the key role of the Faiths.




Alan is an entrepreneur, connector, and a thought leader in risk management. His mission is to protect vital ecosystems and empower the regenerative economy with exponential technologies. Alan is a Founder and CEO at GenBlue, nature’s venture studio. Previously, Alan established Natural Capital Markets at Lykke AG, and listed the world’s first mangrove and Blue Carbon backed blockchain token (TREE). Alan has over two decades of risk management experience with leading financial institutions, and was a founding member of the RiskMetrics Group, a JPMorgan spin-off. Alan is an avid kitesurfer and an ocean lover. Alan holds a BS in industrial engineering & engineering management at Stanford University.




Greg Thain is an entrepreneur and investor who has served as an advisor/ director/ceo for business in multiple sectors and markets. For the many companies he has worked for in the past 40 years, he was responsible for:- fundraising, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate disposals, and due diligence. Greg has held numerous senior positions in finance, e-commerce, E-retail and marketing. He was the founder of PMC, a Russian real estate company, which became a part of Knight Frank in 2003. He was appointed chairman of the new company, growing the company to 400 staff and created the property investment firm Raven Russia. During this period he founded the Rutley Russia Property Fund. The fund was part of Knight Frank Russia, a real estate and private equity company, and raised around $100m. The fund invested in office, retail, and industrial properties in various Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.




Lisa To Huynh Tang is an accomplished lawyer, currently working in-house counsel for a global cosmetics company active in over 60 markets. Previously, she worked as a solicitor and legal advisor for large international companies including SABMiller - the second largest beverage company in the world, YUM! - one of the largest resturant companies in the world with brands such as; KFC, Pizza hut, and Taco Bell, among others. She has also previously worked at Mills & Reeve one of UK's leading law firms. Lisa is knowledgeable and experienced in real estate transactions through her involvement and investment in real estate. LIsa has degrees in Business Administration and Law.




Dr. Kleissner has over twenty years of experience as a senior technology executive in Silicon Valley. He held executive and senior engineering management positions at Hewlett-Packard, NeXT, RightPoint, and Ariba. He is an impact investor and believes that the fundamental and deeper meaning of wealth is to make a positive contribution to humanity and the planet. He insists that the best impact investments integrate financial return and social/environmental impact. Dr. Kleissner earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Vienna.




Stephen spent a large part of his career at Ericsson, where he helped develop program management approaches to handling complex project portfolios. Following that, from 2004 to 2008, he worked as CEO for two water purification companies in the the Swedish Scarab group where he managed the release and distribution of new products into three continents. Stephen has been developing ways for organisations to take the lead in sustainable development.  Starting with addressing resource shortages as limits to growth, he went on to work with envisioning techniques to develop ideas for sustainability and then to practical implementation of a range of instruments, from city walking maps to flexible pollutant fees. Stephen was one of the founders of the Transition movement in Sweden, an original member of the Humanitarian Water and Food management team, and the co-founder of the Swedish Eco-village, Änggärdet. Stephen is a fellow of the Institute of Swedish Safety and Security (ISSS.se) , and served on the boards of JAK bank and the Swedish Sustainable Economy Foundation. Stephen studied Natural Sciences from Dundee University.




Rishab is passionate to bring harmony in the social and ecological systems. With the Initiatives of Change Sweden (www.se.iofc.org), Rishab has had the opportunity to co-design a peace and development programme in Somalia, funded by the Swedish Development Agency (SIDA). He draws from his own experience co founding Indian Youth Climate Network (www.iycn.in) the largest network of Indian youth working on Climate Change issues and EnviorhealthMatters (http://envirohealthmatters.org). He has facilitated organisational transformation in Om Creations (www.omcreationstrust.org) and Shraddha (www.shraddhamumbai.org) two of the most innovative organisations working with the specially abled in Mumbai, and has coached several other social entrepreneurs from around the world. He was also one of the directors of Globeone Consulting Pvt Limited (www.globeone.in). Rishab Khanna has post graduate studies in Economic Development, Environmental Legislation and Management, International Law and Diplomacy.




Micheal Akampa is a sustainable investment professional with vast experience working in Europe and internationally. He was the Founder of Traction Capital, a Sweden based impact investment company that invests in emerging and frontier markets in Africa and Asia. Prior to founding Traction Capital, Micheal worked in various senior roles in the Treasury and Investment departments of several regional and international banks where his knack for deal structuring was developed. Over the last decade, he has structured and closed several transactions in real estate, agriculture, technology, energy, and infrastructure, among others. With a Background in Financial Economics, Micheal also has advanced Masters degrees in Financial Management, and in Risk Analysis, and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Investment and Risk Analysis at Stockholm University. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.




Tim MacDonald is a US lawyer, and founding member of the US law firm Project Law Group, PLLC, where he is building on a solid foundation in enterprise design through investment decision-making as an expert in US partnership tax and transactions law, with particular subject matter experience in Affordable Housing, Equipment Leasing and Renewable Energy to pioneer new choices for pensions and endowments, as well as Impact Investors and Mission Grant-Makers, to use the power of their investments to drive positive change in society and the economy; and for social enterprise to chart a new path to financing their success through negotiated agreements on cash flow sharing. Separately, Tim is also the founder of Evergreencore.org, through which he is working to popularize a new conversation about the new possibilities for global peace through Finance that can be pursued by adaptively evolving a new, next Fourth Generation of fiduciary prudence for super fiduciary stewards of pensions and endowments as a needed new channel and mechanisms for directing personal savings through investment into enterprises that are created by design to foster and promote peace. Tim has a doctor of law at Boston college law school.
